Club Vida at Arenal Hills was designed by Jorge Chinchilla, architect for The Springs Hotel & Spa.
Arenal Hills is nothing short of captivating, exotic, and completely private. From the round-the-clock manned entrance to the majestic Club Vida to the handcrafted villa homes, no detail has been overlooked – right down to the fiber optic infrastructure for lightning speed Wi-Fi.
Consisting of just 140 single-family style villas that grace winding cart paths, Arenal Hills is the crown jewel of one of Costa Rica’s most desirable areas to vacation. Inside our gates, you’ll find lush landscaping, tropical blooms, incredible Club amenities, and homes handcrafted of native hardwoods and unique marble from Peru. Because both the Club and the villas are designed and built by the same artisans that helped bring The Springs Resort & Spa to life, they capture the essence of the best of what Costa Rica has to offer.
The villas of Arenal Hills combine exotic comfort with unrivaled style.
These luxurious villas offer over 1,200 square feet of interior splendor that do justice to the beauty within view. Elevated walkways around the villas provide a peaceful space to enjoy the scenery and climate of Arenal Hills.
Designed by the architect from The Springs Resort & Hotel, our villas offer special features like a luxury hot tub with fountain jets just off the master suite, free-form lounging pool off the living room, and an elegance that is in keeping with the premiere views these Villas provide.
In Costa Rica, “villa” doesn’t imply communal living. Here, a villa describes any property within a private, gated community like Arenal Hills. These units are all free-standing, resort-style single-family homes on ¼-acre homesites with all the privacy and features you expect and deserve.
Priced at $525,000 US, the villa homes of Arenal Hills offer:

Arenal Hills lies near the city of La Fortuna in the Alajuela province of Costa Rica. This beautiful area sits in northern Costa Rica and is surrounded by rich rainforests, towering mountains and sparkling lakes, rivers and waterfalls. Its nearest and most prominent local features is the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal for which the area is named for, though there are many other attractive and interesting features across the geography.
La Fortuna is situated 16 miles (26 km) from Ciudad Quesada and 75 miles (120 km) from San José. The drive from San José takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. There are, however, several side trips along the way that are worth exploring, including the Poas Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Within La Fortuna there are hotels, hospitals, medical and dental facilities, restaurants, Internet cafes, and the bustling town center. La Fortuna has a number of nice restaurants and bars, as well as banks, grocery stores, pharmacies, gift shops, dry cleaners, veterinarians, and more.
The La Fortuna and Arenal area has a wide range of activities including horseback riding, whitewater rafting, waterfall rappelling, hiking, hot springs, canopy tours, cave explorations, and more. Arenal is the adventure center of Costa Rica, and Arenal Hills is located at the heart of it all.
